Programme
You will find different formats, ranging from paper sessions to peer-feedback rounds and workshops.
Location
As of now, the workshop takes place on the 5th level (rooms 5.09/5.10) of the Informatics Department (Von-Seckendorff-Platz 1, 06120 Halle (Saale), right next to the Geosciences and Geography Department).
The campus can be reached through the tram lines 4 and 5 (station: Straßburger Weg).
Uncertainties regarding strike days & Informal Dinner on Wednesday (28th January)
As most of you probably know from your activity in local union groups, the 28th has been marked out as a “Hochschulaktionstag” (university action day) as part of the current round of collective bargaining (“TV-L Runde”). It is likely to become a strike day in our industry which is why we’ve adapted the programme and now let it start a bit later of the 29th. We’ll keep you up-to-date on possible changes with regards to venue, evening events for the 28th etc. In the message regarding final details closer to the workshop, we’ll include an update on this.
Final Details
- We will send out the final programme along with the drafts shortly before the annual meeting.
- Participants will also receive a contact number for emergencies (e.g., if you have trouble finding the entrance or need assistance with short-notice requests).
If you have any questions or need further support, please don’t hesitate to reach out: yannick.ecker (at) geo.uni-halle.de
